So we're up to week 4 already. The sections on images are really important and useful, as any staff from students up to managers may be creating posters, flyers, etc and want to use graphics. The important part here is to make people comfortable following these (often new to us) requirements about attribution etc. Otherwise, if it seems to difficult or scary, we just won't do it. And going back to clip art will really limit our creativity. I personally would appreciate some follow-up sessions. For instance, today Norah gave me some tips about how you can attribute images without destroying the design of your page.

This is week 2 and we are supposed to be getting a twitter. Except twitter is apparently "broken" this morning, so I have been very frustrated thinking it was me, when it was twitter. Arghhh. I will have to try later today, I guess.
I should say this is my first time journaling (sp.?) since high school, about 100 years ago. (I actually still have those diaries, and they are really pathetic.) So I am not expecting this blog to be exciting reading. But I will at least try to be more honest or open than my high school diary.

Day one
Well this was quite a learning experience. A nice way to bond with colleagues, though. And many thanks to our mentor. I think we will be bonding with you extremely closely. See you later.
